2019 Dementia Wellington Symposium
- Written by Dementia Wellington
Registrations for the 2019 Dementia Wellington Symposium are now open!
With a focus on how to live well with dementia and the latest research into brain health, this year's symposium on Thursday 2 May is bound to be as popular as last year's sold-out event.
A highlight of this year’s symposium will again be Dementia Wellington clients sharing their experiences of how they have remained active and engaged in their community. We also have senior clinicians and subject matter experts presenting on a range of dementia specific topics. The full programme of speakers is available here (Please note, the programme has been updated. Dr Brigid Ryan will replace Professor Maurice Curtis. Dr Ryan is a Research Fellow in the Centre for Brain Research with expertise in neurodegenerative disease and a particular interest in early biomarkers of dementia. She is currently leading a multi-disciplinary longitudinal study of the earliest changes that occur in dementia.)
REGISTER HERE to book your ticket. Tickets are $150 each
(For charity rates, please contact Dinithi on 972 2595).
Dementia Wellington would like to thank Westpac for their kind sponsorship of the symposium, and their ongoing commitment to being a Dementia-friendly organisation.
